Hero Electric, India’s largest electric two wheeler manufacturer has introduced the new Hero Electric Optima HX with a host of new features. The City Speed ​​electric scooter will now come equipped with cruise control, which, once activated, will be reflected on the upgraded speedometer. The cruise control feature will allow the rider to maintain a constant speed for a comfortable ride. The rider can press the cruise control button to activate the function to maintain the desired speed. Once activated, the speedometer will reflect the cruise control symbol, and it can be deactivated by braking or twisting the throttle. Hero Electric Optima HX prices start at ₹ 55,580 (ex-showroom) after revised FAME 2 subsidy at the company’s dealerships.
