Hero MotoCorp Q3 Results: Profit drops 36.7%; declares a dividend of Rs 60 per share

Hero MotoCorp Ltd, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, reported a net profit of Rs. 686 crore for the October-December quarter, as compared to 1,084.47 during the same quarter last year. This is a decline of about 36.7 per cent in net profit on a year-on-year basis.

The company has also declared interim dividend of 60 per share amounting to 3,000 percent. The company’s revenue from operations also declined for the quarter 7,883 crore vs. 9,776 crore during Q3 FY21, registering a decline of 19.4 per cent in revenue.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) for the quarter was 960 crore, registered a decline of 32 percent as compared to 1,413 crore in Q3 FY21. Hero MotoCorp’s EBITDA margin stood at 12.2 per cent in the third quarter.
