Here’s where MotoCorp is all set to finally enter the electric vehicle market in India Electric Two-Wheeler under its own VIDA brand. The 2W manufacturer confirmed in a quarterly report that “a new era in mobility is about to begin,” referring to an event under the Vida electric mobility brand that was introduced earlier this year.
The two-wheeler maker has sent out invitations to its dealers, investors and global distributors for the event, which will take place in Jaipur, Rajasthan. According to knowledgeable people, the company will launch its first EV on this occasion. note that Hero Motocorp It has not been officially announced yet.
The scooter was originally planned to be launched on July 1, however, the launch got delayed and will now finally happen next month. Pictures of the scooter were also leaked online a year ago, revealing a production-ready electric scooter inside the company’s R&D plant in Jaipur.

Hero MotoCorp is expected to price the electric scooter aggressively. Upon arrival, it will serve as a direct rival to the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak as well as the Ola S1 scooters. It will be interesting to see if the new Hero MotoCorp Vida scooter can outshine its rivals.
