The new year brings with it the hope of a new beginning. As images of some completed sections of the Delhi-Mumbai highway are being shared on social media, businessman Anand Mahindra, in hopes of better times in 2022, insisted that he envisioned him a ‘highway in a more optimistic future’ and Further said that the part of ‘Delhi to Mumbai’ is not important in this context.
However, Mahindra also claims that he will be “one of the first to climb the route” once the route is completed.
The businessman retweeted some of the images on Twitter on Saturday morning and he added, “So happy to see this image on the first day of the new year.” Delhi to Mumbai is not the important part. It’s an image that inspired me to envision a highway in a more optimistic future. And, of course, when it’s done, I expect to be one of the first cruises on this…
Very soon, you will be able to drive from Delhi to Mumbai in 12 hours with the construction of a new highway that will reduce the distance traveled on the route by 280 km. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had said, ‘We are building worthy highways’ 1,03,000 crore between Delhi and Mumbai. I assure you that within three years from now you will be able to travel from Delhi to Mumbai in your car and reach there within 12 hours.”
On a similar note, Anand Mahindra on Friday tweeted an encouraging and inspiring message to wish him a Happy New Year. He shared a picture in which a man is pushing a car, while a little boy is studying while riding in a car.
He attributed this image to ‘hope, hard work and optimism’, all three of which give the essence of why we live.
“And here’s my favorite photo of the year. Sorry, I don’t know who took it so can’t acknowledge the photographer. It appeared in my inbox. Hope, hard work, optimism. The gist of why we live.” .. once again, have a new year,” Mahindra wrote.
