Honda’s new system will be available at all dealerships across India

Honda has launched a new antivirus air filter for its cars in India which will now be available in Jazz, Amaze, WR-V and City models. This antivirus air filter can be installed by all Honda car dealerships across India. According to the company, the antivirus system is effective in catching harmful germs, allergens and even viruses that cause significant health problems. It developed the system in collaboration with Freudenberg and is being offered as the Honda Genuine Assistant as an alternative to the pollen filter.

Honda and Freudenberg take advantage of a multi-layer design that claims to effectively filter, capture and suppress harmful environmental gases as well as inorganic and organic particles and aerosols. Honda claims that while traveling in motor vehicles, it offers great safety mitigating potential risks.

“With growing concerns about germs, viruses and cabin air quality, it is our conscious effort to provide a proactive solution and defense mechanism to reduce potential health hazards due to compromised air quality. This Anti-Allergen and Antivirus Cabin The air-filter is a good example of Honda working diligently with its suppliers towards delivering a product that improves the health and safety of the car’s driver and co-passengers. We look forward to such protective measures in the future. We expect rapid growth in the demand for solutions,” said Rajesh Goel, Senior, Honda. Vice President for Sales and Marketing in India.

Honda’s new system will be offered as an after market solution

Honda has offered this accessory so that it can easily trap aerosols that can almost completely neutralize the viral load of allergens. Honda Antivirus uses a microfiber biofunctional layer coated with active substances of leaf extract that effectively neutralizes bacteria as well as allergens and prevents them from entering the cabin environment. Other layers of the Honda Antivirus cabin air filter also capture most viruses, ultra-fine aerosols, dust and pollen, while the layer made of activated carbon is responsible for the absorption of harmful acidic gases, pollutants and P52.5. particulate matter.

Honda claims that its new system can capture viral aerosols as small as 5 microns and then a second stage of the filtering system can inactivate most viruses.

0 notes

Considering the COVID19 pandemic and the advent of the festive season, when the air quality index drops below the livable conditions in the cities of North India, this is a very relevant technique.
