On 7 October, a five-storey building in Kasturi Nagar, Bengaluru, tilted before completely collapsing. The incident happened in the afternoon when residents suddenly felt the impact on a pillar of the structure. Shortly after, the building began to tilt to its right. All residents were immediately evacuated before the building collapsed an hour later. The structure was only eight years old, with eight apartments, three of which were occupied. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported in this incident.
