How Apple will solve the annoying CAPTCHA problem with iOS 16 – Times of India

Apple Unveiled the latest version of its iOS operating system – iOS 16 At its annual developer conference WWDC 2022. One such feature which makes your life less disturbing is called automatic verification, This feature will save you the hassle of entering the infamous captcha.
According to a report by MacRumours, the automatic verification feature will come to iPhones and Macs and will allow certain websites to know that you are not a bot without actually doing anything. The Cupertino-based tech giant has worked with two main content delivery networks – Fastly and Cloudflare – to develop this system, the report said. So, that means iOS 16 and . with the launch of MacOS VenturaWebsites using either of the two services will take advantage of this feature and you will not see many CAPTCHA.
Apple has previously revealed that the technology behind this feature is called ‘Private Access Token’. This technology allows HTTP requests to be authenticated through legitimate devices without revealing personal information.
With iOS 16, the automatic verification feature will use private access tokens for a seamless verification process. With this feature, Apple ID and device will be authenticated in the background with the help of this token and then it can be used to sign in, create account etc.
You can find this feature in Settings > Apple ID > Password & Security > Automatic Verification. This feature will be enabled by default in iOS 16.
