Vijay tells Divya that he doesn’t have time to write for Mani Sir’s film. Thus he can pitch for the project. Interestingly, Divya was not told that she had to write for Mani Ratnam’s film. Despite not knowing it, he immediately accepted the offer and the rest, as is well known, is history.
