There are four different options for adding subtitles. youtube Video. You can either upload a pre-written file or use auto-sync or type them in manually, or use auto-translate.
Add subtitles by uploading a file
– Sign in to your YouTube account and go youtube studio on the desktop

Adding Subtitles via Auto-Sync
– go for youtube studio and login
– to select sub headline from the bar on the left
– Select the video you want to edit and click add located under subtitles
– to select auto Sync and type the typescript of your video
– click on Three point Next to Edit Time, select Upload More Files
– After adding the transcript, select edit time and click save and Close
Adding Subtitles Manually
– go for youtube studio and choose subtitles
– Select a video, then click add under subtitle
– to select type manually
– Type a caption for your video as you move the video back and forth to adjust the timing. do not forget Add tags Like applause or thunder for the text.

Adding Subtitles Using Auto-Translate
It should be noted that this feature is currently limited to only 13 languages. These are Dutch, English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese.
– Log in to your account and go youtube studio
– to select sub headline and then select the video in which you want to add caption
– click on Three point under subtitle
– review auto caption and edit/remove parts of auto-caption as needed
