sweater in a safe place
The first and foremost step to ensure a hassle free tire changing process is to stop at a safe and level location. It’s better to drive a little farther and risk damaging your rim than to stop immediately in a really dangerous place. Be sure to also turn on your car’s hazard lights to alert other drivers of your situation.
collect all equipment
Once you locate a location, the next action is to gather all the equipment needed for the process. It includes spare tyres, a wrench, jack and car handbook for reference.
put the jack under the car
The next step is to put the jack under your car. Each car has dedicated jacking points for which you will need to consult your handbook. Don’t lift the jack just yet though.

0 notes
Spare tires are mostly made for emergencies and should not last longer than necessary. At the first opportunity, go to the mechanic and get the tire replaced. This will also ensure that you have a healthy spare tire the next time you buy a flat.
