Chana Tikka Masala Recipe: How To Make Chana Tikka Masala
First of all, add gram, turmeric, red chili powder, salt, lemon juice and vegetable oil in a bowl. Toss the chickpeas well to coat them evenly with all the spices. In a pan, heat some oil and add the marinated chana. Fry them for 4-5 minutes or till they look slightly charred.
Now, we need to prepare the tikka masala sauce. For this, add oil, onion, tomato, cashew, ginger, garlic and all the spices in a separate pan. Fry them till they become soft. Once done, let the sauce cool. Transfer to a mixer grinder to make a smooth paste. (You can also add some water at this stage).
Now put the paste again in the pan and let it boil. Add roasted chana and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes and add fresh coriander. serve hot! Chana tikka masala is ready!
