To make this recipe, you have to first prepare the chicken gravy for the base of the biryani. Heat oil/ghee in a pan and add onion pieces to it. Then add whole spices to it and fry on medium-low flame for a minute.
Then add chicken pieces to it and stir until its color changes. Now add ginger-garlic paste, dry spices, curd, tomato puree, mix well and fry till oil separates while stirring continuously. Now add filtered rice and green chilies, stir and taste the salt, adjust if needed.
