As the name suggests, this pulao is made using chickpeas (chickpeas) and spinach. It is light, protein-rich and extremely healthy. You can also make this delicious pulao for lunch or dinner. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with papad, salad and raita. Check out the recipe below:

To begin making the recipe, first heat the ghee in a deep non stick pan. Add cumin seeds, black peppercorns, cloves, cinnamon stick and bay leaves and saute till fragrant. Add onions, mix and cook till translucent. Now add green chili and ginger-garlic paste and fry for 1-2 minutes. Add spinach puree and mix well. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes.

Next, we need to add the chickpeas and rice. Mix well. Add 3 cups reserved cooking wine. Add salt, mix and let it come to a boil. Cover and cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes or till the rice and chickpeas are completely cooked. Once done, let the casserole rest for 5 minutes. Chole Spinach Pulao is ready!
