He further told that there is no need of soda, leavening agent or fruit salt to make this dosa and it can be prepared easily. at home, It was similar to rava dosa, but rice flour was also added to make it a quick, easy and crispy version. How to make instant crispy dosa in 15 minutes. Instant Crispy Dosa Recipe
Component:
- 1.5 cup rice flour
- 4 tbsp semolina (rava)
- 1 carrot finely chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
- a handful coriander, chopped
- a handful curry leaves, chopped
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- salt to taste
- 4 cups water
Method:
Mix all the dry ingredients including rice flour, semolina, onion, carrot, green chilli, coriander and curry leaves in a bowl. Double the amount of cumin, salt and water as per taste. Mix well till you get a thin batter with a homogeneous consistency.
Now cover the batter and keep it for five minutes. Meanwhile, heat the dosa tawa on medium heat. Remove the lid from the batter and mix again. Use a small bowl to pour the batter on the griddle. start pouring on the outer edges and then move towards Center Covering the whole pan. This will make the dosa thin and super crispy.
Let the dosa get crispy on medium flame. Put some oil and let it cook. Flip the dosa and cook on the other side for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot with chutney or sambar!
