A 39-year-old woman from Hyderabad drowned at RK Beach in Visakhapatnam city on Sunday.
The deceased was a resident of LB Nagar, Hyderabad.
Inspector of III Town Police Station K. According to Rama Rao, the victim’s family had come to Visakhapatnam along with two other families. They went to RK Beach on Sunday and were spending time at the beach near Victory in C area. The woman must have stepped into the water and was pulled into the depths by the strong waves. He was traced and taken to the hospital, where he died during treatment, they said.
Third Town Police has registered a case.
