Hyderpora encounter: Political parties in Jammu and Kashmir demand fair investigation, hand over body

SRINAGAR: After the Hyderpora encounter, political parties demanded a fair probe by the LG into the encounter as the families of the two killed claim that they did not have terrorist links.

Police had earlier said that of the four killed in the Hyderpora encounter, two were terrorists, one was a terrorist associate and one was killed in a shootout.

People’s Conference President Sajad Gani Lone and the Mayor of Srinagar Municipal Committee also expressed apprehension and demanded an inquiry.
