The new Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition gets extra features for an extra cost

Hyundai has launched a new corporate variant of the Grand i10 Nios, with prices starting at Rs 6.29 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Based on the Magna variant of the Nios, the corporate variant costs Rs 20,000 more than the former and is only available with the 1.2-litre petrol engine. The additional Rs 20,000 in the prices brings with it some additional features as well as some cosmetic improvements. Here are the full prices of the new Grand i10 Corporate Edition:

type cost
Corporate Edition MT Rs 6.28 lakh
Corporate Edition AMT 6.98 lakh rupees

Compared to the Grand i10 Sportz, the Corporate Edition is around ₹40,000 to ₹45,000 more affordable.

Starting with the exterior, the Nios Corporate Edition sits on new 15-inch gunmetal-styled wheels (not alloy) compared to the covered 14-inch steel wheels on the regular Magna. Interestingly, the wheel size is also larger than the more expensive Grand i10 Nios Sportz, which sits on 14-inch alloys as standard, with only the dual-toned ones being 15-inches. Additionally, as compared to the Magna, the Corporate Edition also gets roof rails, some additional chrome trimming at the rear and black finished wing mirrors. The grille also gets a glossy black finish on all the color options while the regular Magna can be had with either a black or silver finish depending on the exterior colour.

The Corporate Edition gets a black and red color scheme similar to the Grand i10 Nios Turbo (pictured).

In terms of equipment, the Corporate Edition gets power-folding exterior mirrors along with turn indicators on both the manual and AMT variants – this is only available on the Magna AMT. The CE also gets a new 6.75-inch touchscreen with smartphone-based navigation in place of the 2-DIN system of the Magna.

Talking about the cosmetics, the Nios Corporate Edition gets roof rails, some chrome garnishes on the boot, black finished wing mirrors and gloss black finish on the grille. The standard Magna’s grille was finished in black or silver, depending on the exterior color. Inside the cabin, the Corporate Edition gets black fabric upholstery with red inserts on the seats, AC vents and gear levers – the same interior color scheme as the more expensive Sportz Dual Tone and Turbo models.

As mentioned above, the Corporate Edition is fully available with the familiar 82 bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to a manual or AMT gearbox.
