Hyundai Introduced two all-new dual-tone color options for Kona Electric In the Indian market, i.e. Titan Gray and Fairy Red – both are available with Phantom Black roof. Also, the manufacturer has discontinued the Typhoon Silver color that was on offer with the earlier EV,
Hyundai Electric SUV Now being offered with a total of five paint schemes which include Polar White, Polar White with Black Roof, Phantom Black, as well as the new Titan Gray and Fairy Red dual-tone options. No further changes have been made to the Kona Electric.
It should be noted that the Kona Electric has already received the mid-life facelift in the overseas markets, while the pre-facelift model available in India has. Nonetheless, the Kona Electric is due for an update, and the facelifted version is expected to launch in the country soon.
As of now, Hyundai sells the Kona Electric at a base price of Rs 23.84 lakh, while the dual tone option is offered at Rs 24.03 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). Hyundai EV It directly faces competition from the MG ZS EV which got a substantial update earlier this year.
Hyundai offers the Kona electric SUV with a 39.2 kWh battery pack that offers a claimed range of 452 km. The single electric motor produces 136 PS of power and 395 Nm of torque. With the help of 50kW DC charger, the battery can be juiced up to 80% in 57 minutes. On the other hand, a standard AC charger will take around 6 hours 10 minutes to fully charge the battery.
