New Delhi, June 16 (PTI) Hyundai Motor India Limited said on Monday that it has started production of passenger vehicle engines at its Talegaon plant in Maharashtra.
In a regulatory filing, the company stated that it has “successfully introduced” the passenger vehicle (PV) engines at the Talagaon plant from June 16, 2025.
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) said, “Information about the introduction of the production of passenger vehicles in Talegaon Plant will be made in different times.”

The current annual production capacity of the Talegaon plant is 1.3 lakh units.
HMIL earlier said that this calendar is set to start operations in its new manufacturing facility in Maharashtra, in Maharashtra, in the fourth quarter of 2025.
