Hyundai India has recently confirmed that it will be launching the new generation Tucson in the Indian market on August 10. Unveiled last month, 2022 Hyundai Tucson Its booking has started at an initial price of Rs 50,000.
The 2022 Hyundai Tucson will be offered in two variants – Platinum and Signature. The new Tucson will be available in 5 monotone and 2 dual tone color options namely Phantom Black, Fairy Red, Amazon Grey, Starry Night, Polar White, Fairy Red with Phantom Black Roof and Polar White with Phantom Black Roof.
Mechanically, the new Hyundai Tucson will use a 2.0-litre petrol engine that will produce 154 Bhp power and 192 Nm torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The second engine option is a diesel mill, which produces 184 Bhp of power and 416 Nm of torque. It comes with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The diesel engine will be equipped with a four-wheel-drive system.
Up front, the new Hyundai Tucson will feature a chrome-finished front grille, LED headlamps and LED day running lights. The side profile gets 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The rear is equipped with contrast-coloured skid plates and LED tail-lamps.
Inside, the Tucson premium SUV gets a slew of features like a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument console, BlueLink connectivity, ventilated front seats, eight-way power-adjustable front passenger seat with memory function, powered tail-gate and multi-functional front passenger seat. Terrain Mode.
The biggest highlight of the 2022 Hyundai Tucson is the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). This feature will include advanced safety features such as rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision avoidance assistance, lane departure warning, high-beam assistance, adaptive cruise control and blind-spot assistance.
