He said such people are “exploiting” the sentiments of the people by promising them moon for the sole purpose of fulfilling their political ambitions.
Speaking at the event, Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal said that Channi has become most popular among the people due to its simplicity and visionary approach.
Badal said Channi could feel the pulse of the poor as he himself went through the pain of poverty.
