Bollywood star Alia Bhatt on Monday said she would love to produce her actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor’s directorial debut and would be “upset” if she doesn’t ask him to be a part of the project. while promoting his latest release shamsheraKapoor had reportedly expressed his desire to try his hand at film direction. Actor, who will next be seen in Brahmastra Part One: Shiva Along with Bhatt, he had said that he had already written a story during the pandemic-induced lockdown and was scouting writers to flesh it out.
During the trailer launch of her upcoming film DarlingsBhatt’s first production venture, the actor was asked about the possibility of producing Kapoor’s first directorial venture.
“We discussed it, actually. “He (Khan) said that we will have a lot of fun and enjoy shooting the film. He recently saw the film and was uniquely Darlings In style, he conveyed the message, ‘Thank you darlings for doing this film’,” she said.
Darlings Bhatt is accompanied by Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew.
According to the official synopsis, the film explores the lives of a mother-daughter duo trying to find their place in the city, “looking for courage and love in extraordinary circumstances while fighting against all odds”.
