Four students including three girls and one boy have jointly secured the first position. All these students have secured 99.80 per cent marks. These include Hargun Kaur Matharu of St. Mary’s School, Pune, Anika Gupta of Shelling House School, Kanpur, Kanishk Mittal of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road, Lucknow and Pushkar Tripathi from Jesus and Mary School and College Balrampur.

This is the final result declared by CISCE which includes both Term 1, Term 2 score and marks obtained by the students in internal assessment. The final mark sheets of ICSE or class 10 students will be available on cisce.org and results.cisce.org.

To clear the two-term examinations, students had to pass the combined examination. This means, the pass or fail status is declared on the basis of the final score and not term-wise. To pass, students need 33 percent marks in aggregate. Last year, all the students who have cleared ICSE i.e. 100 percent pass percentage was recorded, while 99.93 percent students registered for ISC managed to clear the exam.

Having secured the highest pass percentage of 100 percent last year. There is a possibility that this year ICSE may see a fall in the pass percentage. Last year students were promoted without exams and this year, exams have been conducted twice and both in different exam pattern.

For the first time in the history of the board, CISCE conducted two examinations in the same examination year. While the semester one exams were conducted in November-December, 2021, the second semester exams were conducted in April-May, 2022 for both class 10 and class 12.
