Shri Mano Thangaraj said that about 8 lakh people are now employed in the IT sector and the government wants to triple this number by 2030. He also highlighted the importance of skilling the IT workforce.

Shri Hari Balachandran said that the initiative taken by his team is helping Tamil Nadu to build its human capital.

During the event, Shri Mano Thangaraj, J. Innocent Divya, along with Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, spoke to HR heads of companies, explained about the training partnership and how companies can access the trained talent pool for recruitment.
