NS Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay Ed-Tech will practically launch the fifth version of Eureka with the app! Junior. The competition is being organized to promote entrepreneurship among school students from class 6 to 12. The last date to register for the Olympiad is October 25.
Eureka! Junior will host the National Entrepreneurship Olympiad on 31 October on the practical test platform. Interested candidates need to register on Eureka! Download the Junior Website and Practical App. They can use the same credentials to register themselves on the app to participate in the Olympiad.
The Final Olympiad Test will be divided into three tracks – Class 6 to 8, Class 9, 10 and Class 11, 12. A practice test is also provided by EdTech App.
The top two winners in all the three tracks will be rewarded with practical scholarships of up to Rs 1.5 lakh. He will also receive a total cash prize of Rs 15,000 from E-SAIL, IIT Bombay. Additionally, the top 24 scorers across all tracks will win 50 percent discount vouchers on practical subscriptions. All the participants will also get a certificate from E-cell, IIT Bombay.
Speaking about the association, Prateek Chauhan, PR Head of Events and E-cell IIT Bombay said, “By inculcating the basics of entrepreneurship for students at this stage, we feel that Eureka! Juniors will give the necessary impetus to innovation in future. We are delighted to partner in the practically distance learning era, having distinguished themselves by bringing experiential learning tools to Eureka! Junior.”
Eureka! Junior is a platform that helps teach students the basics of entrepreneurship, spark creative ideas, draft business plans and present them in front of a panel of judges. It will also host a series of workshops in 1000 schools involving 10,000+ students along with various initiatives to promote creativity.
