A man has said that he was left “speechless” after Swiggy mixed his instructions for a cake ordered from a bakery in Nagpur. The man tweeted that he had asked the online food delivery service to mention whether the cake contained eggs. However, instead of mentioning it in the order’s description, someone wrote “contains eggs” on the cake itself. While the prank was harmless and it did not affect the taste of the cake, the issue has brought a good laugh on social media. Also, Swiggy responded to address the issue to the satisfaction of its customers.
“So I ordered a cake from a famous bakery in Nagpur, through this Swiggy. In the order description, I have mentioned ‘Please mention whether the cake contains egg or not’. I am speechless after receiving the order, ”said the customer.
She has also shared a picture of the cake along with the tweet, which looked really laughable.

Swiggy has apologized to the customer, saying the restaurant partner “failed to understand” their instructions. “Allow us to take a closer look, please share the order ID for further assistance,” it added.
