Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has been sent on CBI remand for five days.

Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was questioned by the CBI for a day on Sunday in connection with the alleged scam in Delhi’s liquor policy and then arrested. On Monday, he was produced in the CBI court from where he was sent to CBI remand. According to the copy of the remand order, “An FIR was registered against 15 fraudsters in the alleged excise scam in which Delhi CM and Minister Manish Sisodia was also named. The motive behind framing this complaint and its extras was to wrongfully benefit the liquor subscribers and licensees.

The copy of the remand order said that the CBI had filed a charge in this case against seven persons on the basis of size, out of which two were targeted at Abhishek Boinpillai and Vijay Nair. The rest of the investigation is going on in depth.
The copy states that the investigation revealed that Manish Sisodia, despite being the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and a Minister, played an active role in this alleged excise scam. Manish Sisodia, despite being a member of the Group of Members as well as the Excise Minister, made some changes in the report of the expert committee on this policy, the cabinet note, which kept crores of the general public at bay, was manipulated, which directly The aim was to benefit the businessmen. All this was done because an advance bribe of Rs 100 crore was taken from South’s group through Vijay Nair so that they would be benefited when the policy is implemented.
It has been said in the copy of the remand order that the investigation revealed that this bribe money was obtained through reason, many proofs of which are available with the agency. When Manish Sisodia was asked questions on all these claims on the basis of the claimed evidence, he did not give a definite answer but tried to hide the importance. After this it was necessary to interrogate Sisidia by taking him into custody and hence he was arrested.
In the remand order, CopyClear has written that Jinch’s interrogation will be in a CCTV monitored place as per the Supreme Court’s order, he can meet his lawyer every day between 6 pm to 7 pm for at least 6 hours. Everyday Sadi will be allowed to meet his wife for 15 minutes and no third degree will be used during interrogation of Sadi.
Sisodia was questioned twice, but did not respond to questions. People under Sisodia have exposed facts which turn against him. Some documentary evidence has also been found like this. It is necessary for the test to get each of these correct answers.
