Leader of the Opposition in Pakistan’s National Assembly Raja Riaz Ahmed Khan said on 15 May that former Prime Minister Imran Khan should have been hanged publicly. He even criticized the courts for granting bail to the former prime minister.
“Imran Khan should have been hanged publicly, but the courts are welcoming him as if he were his son-in-law,” he said in the House.

“If the judge is so happy with this Jewish agent, he should join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Some seats are vacant in his party. In future, he should contest elections on PTI ticket. Those judges should be brought in their place who can give justice to the poor.
Commenting on incidents of vandalism and arson by Imran Khan’s supporters across Pakistan, Raja Riaz said: “The whole house is ashamed. The whole country is ashamed.”
Pakistan’s ruling coalition on Monday demonstrated outside the Supreme Court in protest against some of the recent decisions of the judiciary. The opposition claimed that the court has provided comprehensive relief to former Prime Minister Imran Khan in several cases.
