Police in Meerut on Monday attached a property worth about Rs 6 crore belonging to cattle smuggler Akbar Banjara on the orders of the court. Officials gave this information. A police officer told that before taking action, notice was also followed for the concerned Kothi. Nauchandi was booked under Section 14(1) of the Atrocities Act in the presence of the jurisdictional officer (Mawana) and naib tehsildar (Sadar Meerut) on Monday, according to officials. Banjara’s property was attached in Shastri Nagar police station area.
