India vs Australia 4th Test: Australia’s Cameron Green dominated the fourth Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy on Friday as the all-rounder scored his maiden Test century. Australia achieved rare feat in India

Meanwhile, the Australian pair of Usman Khawaja and Cameron Green also achieved a rare feat in Test cricket in India. Visiting teams have always found it difficult to play in India and their batsmen have struggled over the years on the spin-friendly Indian tracks. India rarely have big partnerships but Khawaja and Green certainly made one.

The duo shared a 208-run partnership for the 5th wicket and became only the second pair since 2013 to bring up a 200-plus stand in India. was the only pair to put on a 200-run partnership Joe Root and Dom Sibley, who shared a 200-run partnership in the Chennai Test in 2021.

Notably, it is also Australia’s second largest stand in India. Prior to these two, K Hughes and A Border had scored more runs for one wicket for Australia in India when they scored 222 in the Chennai Test in 1979/80.
