“The match went on. You just get engrossed when you’re in the process. It’s going to sink in and it’s been a great game. I couldn’t have asked for a better start. Progress is gradual and slow. Somehow. For someone like me who isn’t exceptionally talented, I had to raise my game from the ground up. I made mistakes and then found things I can and can’t do well. It’s been a great journey and it’s been a great journey. Has taught me many lessons that will keep me in good shape even after cricket,” Harshal Patel said in the post-match presentation.

“I think you don’t need too many variations. You just need to know what works for you and package it well. I tend to bowl those yorkers and slow pace in these conditions. Couldn’t do it. Yorker is a delivery which I would love to use and get better. I have seen myself falling into shiny things many times. It is another platform for me to come, perform and show my skills. That’s it. I want to do it and enjoy whatever comes.” ,

Chasing 154, India got off to a great start as openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul added 50 runs in just 6.4 overs. While Rahul completed his fourth half-century during the game, both the batsmen overtook the Kiwi bowlers from all sides.

But, Saudi retaliated again and dismissed Rohit and Surya Kumar Yadav in the 16th over.
