India completed a whitewash by defeating West Indies by 96 runs in the third ODI against West Indies in Ahmedabad.

India thrashed West Indies by 96 runs in the third ODI to complete a 3-0 series whitewash here on Friday.

India were all out for 265 against West Indies after a top-order failure.

Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant made India’s recovery with 80 and 56 runs respectively.

pacer Jason Holder It was the bowlers’ choice for West Indies, taking four for 34 in eight overs.

In reply, the Indian pace trio of Deepak Chahar, Mohammad Siraj and Prasid Krishna crossed the West Indies batting line-up to bowl out the visiting team for 169 in 37.1 overs.

spinner Kuldeep Yadav also made a successful comeback with two wickets.
