who were chosen

Xi’s investigation into selecting one of the candidates for the Politburo Standing Committee, Ding Xuexiang, is most evident.

While serving as director of the CCP’s General Office, Ding has managed Xi’s agenda planning, briefings and foreign travel.

Ding Xuexiang accompanied Xi Jinping with Yang Jiechi and He Lifeng during their visit to Mamallapuram in 2019.

Ding has acted as Xi’s personal aide (mishu) and is said to be his ‘most trusted ally’, according Neil Thomas, senior analyst at Eurasia Group. Despite his lack of experience as governor of a province or party chief, Ding’s rise to power was made possible by his personal relationship with Xi. In 2007, Xi moved from Zhejiang province to Shanghai to become party chief, and that was when Ding Work proximity to the east.

ding had one short tenure (1984–88) as Secretary of the Communist Youth League at the Shanghai Research Institute of Materials, but this had no effect on his rise in the PBSC.

There is also talk of He Lifeng taking over as the next prime minister of China, but we don’t know for sure yet.

General He Weidong is someone who has a history of dealing with border matters relating to India. He will serve as the Deputy Chairman of the Central Military Commission and a member of the current Politburo.

Gen. He was the Commander of the Western Theater Command Ground Force from July 2016 to December 2019. He is likely to have taken the front seat at the height of the Doklam standoff in 2017 and may have played a major role in the leadership. Till the Galwan clashes in Ladakh in June 2020. Gen. He will replace General Xu Qiliang, who is set to retire and step down from the CMC.

General Zhang Yuxia, General He along with the other vice-president, has been allowed to remain on the Central Military Commission despite being significantly above the retirement age of 72. General Zhang (considered close to Xi Jinping and appointed because of experience in Taiwan affairs).

Apart from General He Weidong, another military figure who could have a massive impact on military relations with India is Li Fengbiao, currently service of As Political Commissioner, Western Theater Command. He was selected to join the Central Committee.

Between 2019 and 2021, Lee served as the commander of the Strategic Assistance Force, which is in charge of cyber and information warfare. Li is said to have close ties with Xi, which explains his promotion to the rank of lieutenant general in 2017 and his quick rise to become a general by 2019. Lee will likely be in charge of implementing Xi’s political agenda as a political one in the Western Theater Command. commissar

Yet another PLA general has a history with India.

Xue Killing, who served as commander of the Western Theater Command in 2020, is one of the 205 members of the Central Committee. General Xu is currently working in the Joint Staff Department of the Central Military Commission.

The reason for being promoted to military generals with a history of serving along the border with India may have to do with the limited pool of officers with experience on the battlefield.

A new role for Wang Yi

If you follow India’s relations with China, State Counselor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi would be one of the most recognizable names.

Wang Yi is a man who doesn’t shy away from being called a ‘wolf warrior’. Nationalists refer to Wang as the “Silver Fox” for his polished but cunning approach to Chinese diplomacy.

Fluent in Japanese and trained as a ‘Japan and Asia expert’, Wang has recently spent much time dealing with the US and India.

In July, during the G-20 Foreign Ministers’ Summit in Bali, Wang Yis Cited An Indian poet, “Darkness does not go away by itself; A lamp that has been extinguished should be lit again”.

This quote sounds like one of Rabindranath Tagore’s quotes, but it’s hard to say for sure. But the sheen of diplomatic relations between China and India has faded beyond recognition in the past two years.

Wang Yi is set to succeed Yang Jiechi as director of the Central Commission on Foreign Affairs.

The Central Commission on Foreign Affairs, or the Commission on Foreign Affairs, is like no other Chinese government panel. Under Xi Jinping, the Foreign Affairs Commission emerged As a central body for the planning and implementation of Beijing’s foreign policy, major smaller groups replaced the old model.

Yang Jiechi, the director of the Foreign Affairs Commission, currently has much authority to plan Chinese foreign policy, even including personnel appointed as diplomats to key positions.

Tibet always looms large on the horizon when it comes to China’s relations with India. Hu Chunhua, who has a long history of working in Tibet, despite being sidelined by Xi and not making it to the Politburo, other Tibet figures could play an important role.

Yan Jinhai, who currently serves as the Chairman of the People’s Government of the Tibetan Autonomous Region, is one of the lucky 205 full. members of the Central Committee. Yan is an ethnic Tibetan from Qinghai.

With a dream team, Xi Jinping feels confident about moving forward with the ‘Dream of China’ of rejuvenating the Chinese nation and bringing it to the center of the international stage.

“The new journey is a campaign full of pride and dreams. The blueprint has been drawn, and the horn has been sounded. We must work hard, move forward bravely and strive to create a more wonderful tomorrow,” Xi said on Sunday. while holding a meeting with the members of the new Standing Committee and foreign journalists.

Securing Xi’s third term was a foregone conclusion, but 20th The Party Congress is far more important because their consolidation of power is not some speculative op-ed. The selection and promotion of his favorite candidates shows that nothing can stop Xi from implementing a long-term agenda that links Beijing’s internal development with the rest of the world.
