With 20,726 recoveries from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, the national recovery rate stands at 98.46 per cent, the health ministry said. The number of people cured of the disease increased to 4,31,92,379.
The daily positivity rate has been recorded at 4.46 percent while the weekly positivity rate is 4.46 percent.
According to the Health Ministry, 201.68 crore Kovid vaccination doses have been given so far in the country under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
India’s COVID-19 tally crossed one crore in December 2020, 20 million in May last year and three crore in June 2021. The four crore mark was crossed in January this year.
