In a virtual address at the plenary session of the 7th Eastern Economic Forum held in Vladivostok, the Prime Minister said, “From the very beginning of the Ukraine conflict, we have emphasized the need to adopt the path of diplomacy and dialogue.”

“In 2019, we announced the ‘Act Far-East’ policy. As a result, India’s cooperation with the Far-Eastern countries of Russia increased in various fields. It has now become a key pillar of the ‘Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership’ of India and Russia,” Modi said.
Modi said India looked forward to expanding its cooperation with Russia, particularly in the areas of energy and coking coal, and called for a diplomatic and peaceful solution to the Ukraine crisis.
