New Delhi [India], July 28 (ANI): On the fourth day of Indian Couture Week, Malaika Arora became the music for designer duo Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna. Malaika looked like a goddess in a deep green colored black embellished piece by the designer duo. Immaculate looking with nude, dewy make-up, Malaika walked the ramp as a showstopper.

Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna presented textiles inspired by art and architecture on the fourth day of the ongoing Textile Week. Showcasing a range of gowns, tuxedos and Indian formals, Rahul Gandhi and Rohit Khanna entered the world of combination with their latest collection combining art and geometry.

In this collection, Rohit and Rahul wear curated dresses that can easily be worn to Indian music and can serve as ball gowns for the next day if you decide to visit the historic ballroom in Vienna. Huh! The duo blended dramatic fabrics with precise techniques into the pattern.

Rohit and Rahul christened the collection ‘Fibonacci’ and presented intricately embellished embroidery in nude tulle, breezy organza and sumptuous velvet. He used metallic luster and reflection on the spectrum of blue, grey, coral, hearth and teal.

Speaking about the pieces, Rahul Khanna said, “Each piece in this collection is intricately hand-crafted, taking 1,800-2,000 hours to make”.

We have known each other for a very long time, said Rohit Gandhi, “There could not have been a better collection to offer a better couture piece than Malaika.”

Plus size model Sakshi Sindhwani also walked the ramp for both of them.

Indian Couture Week will conclude on Sunday with designer Anamika Khanna presenting her latest collection. Earlier in the day, Aditi Rao Hydari walked for Anju Modi. On Thursday evening, designers Dolly J and Suneet Verma will be showcasing their garments.

This is the first time in two years that a physical event is being organized for the Indian Couture Week. Earlier, due to COVID-19, Fashion Week used to be online. (ANI)
