Indian IT firm CEO gifts BMW car to his employees

Five employees of global software-as-a-service company-Kisflow Inc. were surprised when the company’s CEO handed over five BMW cars, each priced at Rs. 1 crore, to its senior management officers on Friday to honor their loyalty and commitment to the company.

Five employees of a city-based software firm were rewarded for assisting their boss in a ‘gold-digging’ and weathering the firm as the Covid-19 storm threatened its very existence.

The handing over ceremony was kept secret as some of the five recipients of the cars were informed a few hours before the event that they were going to own an expensive luxury brand.

According to Suresh Sambandam, CEO, Kissflow Inc., the five were with him since the inception of the company and stayed with him throughout the journey.

Sambandam said that some of the recipients of the cars were from humble backgrounds and faced various challenges before joining his company.

The firm also faced several hurdles in its journey and during the Covid-19 pandemic some investors even raised doubts whether the company would run successfully.

“There were tough times. Even during the pandemic, investors were not sure if this company would sustain and build the future. Today we are very happy that we have paid back the investors and now it has become a fully private owned company. Gone,” he said.

Not many people were aware of the incident, as Friday afternoon was the last working day for the week and many questions were raised in the minds of those gathered at the ceremony regarding a possible investment of money or any acquisition.

With much fanfare, five BMW 530d cars rolled out one by one and lined up in parallel with the respective families of five members, much to the delight of the gathered staff.

“The cars are for these five who were with me when I dug 100 feet for gold (founding Kissflow while others left the organization midway),” Sambandam said.

Asked what other employees will get, Sambandham, owner of BMW 6 Series vehicle, said, “It is an inspiration for them. We want to motivate them (to perform better). We take better care of our employees.” Huh. “.

“For example, unlike other companies there is no sick leave or casual leave. It’s just a holiday for them. If they don’t want to come and work, they can work from home. Any presence like a biometric system There is no system and everyone…we know our employees”, he said.

Echoing similar views, Vivek Madurai, one of the beneficiaries of Sambandam’s generosity, said, “We take care of our team members. They are motivated to do better in whatever they love.” “.

Navy Blue 5 Series Cars Price Each 1 crore was given to the beneficiaries in a program organized on the occasion of 10th anniversary of the company on Friday. Some beneficiaries were informed of their impending fate in the afternoon itself and termed it a ‘pleasant surprise’ as some thought it was just a walk with the owners.

The recipients of the cars were Chief Product Officer Dinesh Varadarajan, Director (Product Management) Kaushikram Krishnasai, Director Vivek Madurai, Director Adi Ramanathan and Vice President Prasanna Rajendran.

Krishnasai said, “It’s a pleasant surprise for me. I thought we were going to have lunch or dinner with everyone. It was not expected.”

Sambhagam said after handing them the keys, “These are the five people who stayed with me in the trenches. Without them Kissflow wouldn’t have been where it is today, and that’s a very small token of appreciation. I’m glad they can be seen by their families.” Enjoy watching it with”.
