South Eastern Railway (SER) has invited applications for recruitment to 1,785 posts of Apprenticeship. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online at official RRC/SC website at scr.indianrailways.gov.in. The application process was started from 15th November and the last date to apply is 14th December till 5 PM. The various posts include Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Welder, Mechanic, Machinist, Painter, Refrigerator & AC Machinist, Cable Jointer, Crane Operator, Winder etc.
South Eastern Railway Apprenticeship Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or Class 10 from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks and ITI pass certificate in the trade granted by NCVT.
Ages: Candidates age should be more than 15 years and less than 24 years as on January 1, 2022. The upper age limit is relaxable by five years in case of SC and ST candidates, three years in case of OBC candidates, and ten years for physically handicapped candidates. Upper age limit for Ex-Servicemen is relaxable by an additional ten years to the extent of service rendered in Defense Forces.

General category candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs.100. Meanwhile, those belonging to SC, ST, PWD and Women candidates need not pay any application fee. Fees will have to be paid online only.
South Eastern Railway Apprenticeship Recruitment 2021: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected purely on the basis of merit, i.e. their eligibility criteria and vacancies available in the respective communities. If two candidates have equal marks, then the older one will be given preference. The candidates will be called for document verification to the extent of 1.5 times the notified vacancies and will also have to qualify medical and physical fitness test.
