Infineon CEO says chip supply will remain tight in 2022

Speaking at the Handelsblatt Automotive Summit, Chief Executive Reinhard Ploss said vehicle production and chip supply could be balanced by the third quarter.

Infineon, which derives about 40% of its sales from the automotive sector, expects to keep supplying critical semiconductors in the region well into the next year, chief executive Reinhard Ploss said on Tuesday.
