Instagram now lets people delete their accounts from its app, but only for people who use an iPhone. That’s right, till now if you wanted to delete your Instagram account, you had to go through a lengthy process which was tedious. Therefore, most people will simply deactivate instead. But with the change in Apple’s App Review Guidelines, now apps like Instagram are forced to make this process easier for their users.

Interestingly, Google continues to allow these platforms to work with a web-only removal process. And with Apple changing its guidelines, we are expecting Google to follow suit in the near future.
How to Delete Instagram Account from iOS App
