Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) launched Activa Premium at ₹75,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it ₹3,000 more expensive than the standard Activa 6G and ₹1,000 more than the DLX version of the Activa 6G.
The Activa Premium gets a fair number of cosmetic touches that differentiate it from the standard Activa 6G. These include three exclusive colors with a gold finish, which is either bare metal or a chrome finish on the standard Activa 6G. This finish is present on the wheels, logo and embellishments of the front apron. Additional changes include a brown finish on the seats and plastic cladding on the interior body, compared to the black one on the standard Activa 6G.
The Activa Premium variant remains mechanically unchanged as it is powered by a 109.5cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 7.7hp and 8.9Nm, mated to a CVT gearbox. It also has a silent electric starter with an old school kick-starter as standard. The Activa Premium runs on the same pair of steel wheels found on the standard Activa 6G, with a 90/90-12 front tire and a 90/100-10 rear, both of which are tubeless. The braking hardware remains the same, with 130 mm drum brakes at both the front and rear. The Activa 6G also gets an underbone frame, telescopic forks and three-step adjustable hydraulic shocks.
