Mumbai : Shares submitted by NDTV Investors for the Adani Group offer stood at 27.72 lakh shares (16.54%) against the offer size of 1.67 crore shares on the third day.
open offer by Adani GroupVCPL, a wholly owned subsidiary of NDTV, will acquire an additional 26% in NDTV from 22 November to 5 December.
NDTV share price rose 2.4% 367.25 on Thursday to Rs. A total of 13,146 scrips changed hands on BSE. The delivery as a percentage of the traded volume stood at 100%.
Shares trade at a premium of around 25% to offer price 294 each.
Open offer size is 492.81 crores at a cost of Rs. 294 a share.
The shares are being acquired through an open offer by VCPL, a wholly owned subsidiary of AMG Media Networks, a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Group. AMG and Adani Enterprises are the persons working closely with the acquirer.
Adani acquired VCPL, which had given the loan 400 crore to NDTV’s founders a decade ago, by which it indirectly acquired 29.18% in the media conglomerate, triggering an open offer.
