Pant said in the post, “I think Warner batted beautifully and gave us every chance to win the match. Can’t blame Marsh, it was his first match and looked a bit harsh, but we were in the middle overs.” I could have done better.” -Match presentation function.
“As the innings went on the wicket got better and better, that over from Mustafizur was a game-changer for us. I think we could have bowled as per our plans, but we were under the pump, the way DK batted in the latter overs. It was commendable,” Pant said.
Pant, however, said that Delhi Capitals will have to learn from their mistakes to do better in the upcoming IPL matches as the tournament has not even reached its halfway point.
“One boundary length was short and every batsman was targeting him, so I changed Kuldeep’s end and he bowled really well. We have to talk about doing better as a team, we will have to play in the coming games. Have to learn from our mistakes,” Pant signed off.
