At the toss, PBKS captain Mayank Agarwal confirmed that Sandeep Sharma, Rishi Dhawan and Bhanuka Rajapaksa made it to the playing XI in place of Shah Rukh, Khan, Nathan Ellis and Vaibhav Arora. PBKS will look to get back on the winning track after losing badly to Delhi Capitals in their last match. CSK, on the other hand, won their second game of the season by defeating Mumbai Indians.
