IPL 2023: Mark Wood and Kyle Mayer shine in LSG’s stupendous win over DC

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) make their debut IPL Kick off their 2023 campaign on a winning note with a thumping win over Delhi Capitals in their first game at home. Kyle Mayers and Mark Wood were the heroes for the hosts, with the former scoring 73 while the English pacer picked up a fine five-wicket haul. While LSG were spot on with their plans, Capitals looked undercooked especially in the field and paid the price.

Eventually, they could only manage 143 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs and lost the game by 50 runs.
