mega auction for IPL The 2022 season will be held in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13. A total of 590 cricketers will be screwed. Of the 590 players registered for the auction, 228 are capped players, 355 are uncapped players and 7 are from Associate Nations. With the addition of two new teams this time around, the players’ bidding is likely to be even more exciting as the team will try to create the best combination of players for the biggest league of franchise cricket.
A total of 217 more cricketers will be put up for auction from the pool of 590 shortlisted cricketers. Meanwhile, 33 cricketers have already been retained/selected by the 10 teams playing in the IPL.
This year’s auction could see the maximum buying of the Indian million-dollar ( 7.5 crores and above) with more than 10 cricketers ready to cross 10 crores bid limit and is expected to approach some 200 million.

The auction will take place in Bangalore. The live coverage of IPL’s mega auction will begin at 11 am on Saturday (February 12) as well as on Sunday (February 13). Cricket fans can watch the live auction on Star Sports Network. The mega auction will also be live-streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
