India vs Ireland, 2nd T20I, Highlights:Ireland put up a spirited fight, but in the end, Hardik Pandya-led India won the series 2-0 by four runs to win the second T20I. Ireland’s batsmen were scrambling to chase down 226, but in the final over, Umran Malik scored 17 runs to help Hardik win his first series as captain. Earlier, Ireland captain Andrew Balbirnie scored 50 off 34 balls but was soon removed by Harshal Patel. Ireland needed 62 runs in the last five overs to win but could not cross the boundary. Earlier, Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson scored 104 and 77 runs respectively as India posted 225/7 in 20 overs. The Ireland bowlers had no answer to stop the Indian juggernaut and in the end, India posted a huge total. Earlier, Deepak Hooda was on his toes as he registered his maiden T20I century. Samson had scored 77 and his innings was ended by Mark Adair in the 17th over. The duo added more than 100 runs for the second wicket and they put together a 176-run partnership which is India’s highest ever T20I partnership. After batting, India got off to a poor start and the team lost Ishan Kishan in the third over of the innings. Ishaan scored just 3 runs.
