In the 49-second clip, we can see this delicious Turkish dessert being made. First, a finely ground paste was added to the metal funnel. Then, the funnel poured the batter into the hot oil which immediately started crackling. Tongs were used to deep fry the batter till it turns golden brown and crisp. Then, tulumba was taken from a pan of oil and dipped in a pan that looked like some sort of syrup. Then the excess sugar was removed and the sweets were cut into pieces and packed in boxes. Turks are masters of desertification.” “I am Turkey And we have little spirals that haven’t been cut, so they’re one crumb and all that crunch,” added another desi Reddit user. The desi Reddit user couldn’t resist reporting that the dessert looks very similar to Indian jalebi. “I guess That Paneer Jalebi would be closer to it than a Churros,” said one user, while another wrote, “Closer to Imarti than Jalebi!”
