ISC result 2021-22: Most students in the state clear board exams, girls steal the show again – Times of India

Dehradun: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Sunday evening declared the ISC Class XII results for the academic session 2021-22. One student each from a private school in Dehradun and Rishikesh Public School has made the state topper with 99.5% marks. ICSE exam started on 6th April and ended on 13th June. The overall pass percentage this year was 99.38%, with girls performing slightly better than boys at 99.52% as compared to 99.26%.

Overall 50,761 boys and 45,579 girls passed the exam. The pass percentage of SC, ST and OBC was 99.39%, 99.2% and 99.49% respectively. According to board officials, 18 students have secured the first rank with 99.75 per cent marks. Most of the students in Uttarakhand passed the board exams. Two students were second in the merit list, three other students from Dehradun and Anvi Joshi, a student from Nainital stood third with 99.25%. “I love historical readings and after every two hours of studying for the board, I would take a book break. 272 students of St Joseph’s Academy in Dehradun took the board, of which 97 students scored above 90%, one of whom, Akash Gunjesh, stood third in the merit list. Science student Gunjesh topped the school with 99.25%, followed by Riya Sabharwal with 99%. Similarly, the students of Unison World School, Doon, performed brilliantly in the ISC examination. Ruchika Agrawal of the school secured 99.2%, secured third position in India Merit and second in hill state. She topped the commerce stream in the school, followed by Ananya Agarwal with 98.75% and Vanshika Poddar with 97.75%. Meanwhile, Kavita Sharma topped the Science stream with 96.5%, followed by Vedanshi Dora with 96% and Delisha Agarwal with 94.5%. In Humanities, Anshika Jain has scored 98 per cent, Anushka Bansal has scored 97.25 per cent and Reet Kandhari has scored 96.75 per cent. Divya Dwivedi, Principal, Unison World School, said, “Our magicians of maths, Vedanshi Dora, Ruchika Agarwal, Ananya Agarwal and Mehak Agarwal scored a century in this subject. Reet Kandhari secured 100% marks in Political Science. ”

Carman Residential and Day School in Dalanwala also recorded cent percent results. Vaibhavi Pokhriyal of Science stream was the school topper with 98.5%, followed by Navya Sharma and Akash Tiwari with 94%. From St. Thomas College, Nishant Saini was the topper with 98%, followed by Shambhavi with 97% from Science stream. At Summer Valley School, 136 students appeared for the Class XII board of which 54 secured above 90%, and Aryan Agarwal from Science topped with 98.75%, followed by Ananya Gupta of Humanities with 97.75%.

Out of 44 girl students of Hopetown Girls School, 21 scored above 90%. Ananya Saraogi (98%) and Hiya Aitreya and Vedanshi Keel, with 95% each, were the toppers. The Wynberg Allen School recorded a 100% result, with 26 students achieving over 90%. Mansi Bhatia topped the school with 96.5% while Sanika Barnwal scored 96.25%. Tenzin Wangmo and Tannuvi Agarwal scored 96% marks each.

Adi Jain of St George’s College scored 98.75%, Aaradhya Dang and Piyush Gupta scored 97.75%. The school recorded 100% result, with 47 students scoring 90% and above. ICSE X results were declared on 17th July.
