Jamshedpur FC Clinical climbed to second place with a 3-0 win Kerala Blasters At a high-voltage Indian Super League match in Bambolim on Thursday. Greg Stewart (45th, 48th) scored two goals from both sides of half time before Daniel Cheema Chukwu (53rd) returned to the net for the third game in a row since joining the Jamshedpur ranks. Jamshedpur now have 25 points from 14 matches, which is less than table-toppers Hyderabad FC, who have 26 points from 15 matches. Kerala slipped to fifth place after losing 14 matches with 23 points.
Jamshedpur saw more ball in the opening exchange as both teams started cautiously, trying to figure out what the other was doing.
There was no real chance before the break after which Kerala put their act together and kept the ball high and had more impact on the game with the likes of Abdul Sahal, Adrian Luna and Alvaro Vazquez.
For Jamshedpur, Ritwik Das impressed as he crossed some shirts from Kerala and went into the box to set up Jitendra Singh, whose effort was blocked.
Denachandram Meitei then handed a cheap penalty as he pulled Stewart down inside the field to point the referee to the spot. The Scottish attacker stepped up to take a spot-kick, sending Prabhasukhan Gill the wrong way as he tucked the ball into the right bottom corner.
It was all Jamshedpur in the second half as they scored two goals in a span of five minutes to end the game.
First, Boris Singh was clipped inside the box by Marko Leskovic to hand the Men of Steel another penalty. Stewart stepped up once again and doubled his tally from the spot, sending the keeper the wrong way again.

Cheema snatched the game from Kerala after being sent in low cross for the Nigerian to set the house on fire at half-volley.
Ritwik Das tried his luck from a distance, seeing Gill out of his line, but the ball went over the roof of the goal as Owen Coyle’s men ruled the roost.
